Leonardo DiCaprio

DiCaprio is probably one of the biggest actors to grace our screens. One would think his various homes thrive on luxury alone, but that wouldn’t be entirely true. The plot twist is that he takes sustainability very seriously, he has homes that are both luxurious and sustainable under his belt. His homes are built with eco-friendly materials and of course, luxury can also be found in sustainability, so you could have the best of both worlds, in little ways or  grand style, whichever way floats your eco-friendly boat.

Adele

Hello Luxury and Sustainability, we all know Adele could blow up any roof with the sound of her voice, what you probably didn’t know is that she once owned a beach house in Brighton which she sold for a whooping sum, but before she did, she transferred the residence into an eco friendly home with solar panels on the roof for efficiency.

Johnny Depp

Let’s take a moment away from all the noise surrounding Johnny Depp right now, everyone’s favorite film starring Depp is more or less the pirates of the Caribbean. It is said that Johnny Depp fell in love with the Caribbean while filming the franchise, when describing his island home, he said: “I don’t think I’d ever seen any place so pure and beautiful.” According to reports, the island is equipped with solar outbuildings to make it eco friendly.

Lisa Ling

Lisa Ling is notably part of real estate history as she owns the first carbon-neutral residence in Santa Monica: carbon neutrality is a state of net-zero carbon dioxide emissions, which is a great thing for our planet. Her residence also has a LEED plantings certification, LED lighting, high level of insulation and so many other green/ eco-friendly materials.

Wrapping it up
This only goes to show that sustainability and luxury cannot be rivaled, in fact you can achieve a perfect sync in your home when you put these two together. But let’s face it, these stars spend a fortune when it comes to their homes, doesn’t mean you have to.

You could still join the bandwagon when it comes to luxury and sustainability in your own home; and that’s why we’re here, to make it all possible !
